Happy Fall Y’all
I love early morning’s on the farm.
The cows are peacefully grazing along the fence line and the horses in our neighbor’s stable cut a magnificent silhouette against the emerging sun.
It makes for an incredibly beautiful morning sipping coffee on the porch.
This year I thought I would decorate the barn porch for Fall.
With dwindling daylight hours, work on the barn takes on a much slower pace…but it is still coming along.
Our old ’51 Ford is not running so my hubby had to push it there so we could build the porch.
I wasn’t about to ask him to push it out of my way for pictures 😉
I felt the traditional orange pumpkins suited the old-timey feel of the porch.
The leafy stuff in my rusty bucket is ornamental kale.
I came across our little red Christmas truck in our storage and figured it would look just as cute with pumpkins and hay.
Old sap buckets are perfect for hanging on ladders.
I added some dried leaves and a few mini pumpkins.
Strips of rusty tin look cute on the pumpkin stems.
My ninety-year-old neighbor asked when I would be opening because she would like to come and visit…how nice is that!
I let her know that the barn was storage for us, but she could come and sit on the porch with me.
If you look to the left I have this large trunk and wagon.
The trunk is a monster and not something I can move…not sure what we’re doing with it!
I also have a load of wagons coming(60 of them!) if anyone is looking for a rusty old wagon.
So what are you decorating for Fall?
As always I would love for you to share in the comments below.
