Our Vintage Christmas

Dr.Seuss Christmas Tree for a Vintage Christmas

This year I wanted to change our Christmas decor.

We purchased this Dr.Seuss tree(hubby had been secretly wanting one) and between the tree and the old sign, it set the stage for the rest of our decorations.

We assembled the tree and moved it into our traditional “tree spot” and I just wasn’t feeling it.

After a few failed attempts around the house, we moved it beside our old Sherwood Forest Farm Market sign, and I knew immediately that it had found a new spot.

The tree was meant to be paired with the old sign!

Now I have never dreamed of not decorating our Christmas tree, I mean, that is one of the most child-like parts of Christmas!

However, once we put the lights on I was sold on a naked tree…plus one red vintage ornament.

Farmhouse stencil. Using Funky Junk's Old Sign Stencil I add "Farmhouse" to an old wooden antique tote. With Christmas approaching I added a few bells and trees.

With such a large blue antique sign nestled under our tree, I figured I had to go with a little blue on the opposite wall.

I stenciled the tote and sat it on an old sleigh under the 8-foot antique windmill blades.

Added some birch logs, cotton, and a few inexpensive trees($2.99 each 🙂 )

Christmas Tree Truck

Vintage Christmas. Antique truck loaded with presents.

A couple old trucks for our sparkly trees and gifts…love a little bling with our rust 😉

Goat Wagon filled with Christmas presents

Presents fit perfectly in the goat wagon.

Just a few of my favorites in our home this year.

With Christmas just over a week away I am ready to eat too much, watch Elf, and have one too many lattes!

So from our home to yours we wish you a very

Merry Christmas

Kindly, xo

Jane
