Junkin trip to Round Top Texas Antique Week

Hello, friends!

If you follow me on Instagram you know that I was in Round Top, Texas for Antique Week(Weeks)!

It was a blast with my hubby’s watch telling us we were averaging 16,000 steps a day.

This year I was on the hunt for “smalls” like this flower frog I found in the fields of the La Bahia show.

It was hidden in one of those boxes full of junk…the kind that has an endless assortment of tools and nails…as I made it to the bottom, there it was.

Vintage French Zinc Pitcher

Marburger Farm Antique Show did not disappoint.

It was the only day that the sun did not shine.

Thunder, lightening and pouring rain.

Running from tent to tent looking for something to take home.

We were fortunate to buy this beautiful French Zinc Pitcher from a gal that travels to France every year on a buying trip

and this set of French grain measuring cups.

White and blue chippy little bench, ideal for a photo prop.

Ironstone

Several pieces of ironstone came home with me, this one being my favorite .

I had lots of messages on how we brought everything home.

We traveled with empty luggage & bubble wrap and this ironstone piece stayed with me inside my backpack!

As a vintage dealer it is these moments that you don’t forget.

The stories of a piece and the story behind the adventure of finding it.

Like this simple coffee pot.

I wanted to find one.

After four days of searching…

My hubby came across this one for $5!

The little things excite me especially when it comes to the idea of using a piece in a photo.

If you ever make your way to Round Top, Texas make sure to ask around.

I heard of a gal that canceled her travel plans thinking she missed the show.

Round Top is only one part of the show.

Warrenton has the majority of tents and it goes on for over a month.

If I can ever help you craft “your” Round Top experience, feel free to email me or comment below.

Kindly, xo
